Use Chrome Like a Pro

So, I’ll assume you read my previous post on the acquisition of the Goodfella razor handle. The quality is good and I appreciated the aftershave balm as well, but… I haven’t had the closeness of shave I desired and tonight reverted back to my Gillette. I’m not ruling out more goes but I can safely say that a cartridge razor does a better job for my facial hair. It grows at quite a shallow angle which means it’s very easy to get irritation and ingrown hairs. I’ve noticed that even following some instructional videos closely, I was left with some pretty unpleasant results and stinging after shaving with the safety razor. Every face is different and time will tell if I can actually convert but so far, I’m not entirely convinced.

I’ve long been reluctant to hide the Mac OS dock because it’s a notification area, but in the spirit of minimalism, I’m willing to work without the dock permanently on show. Hey, I even get a few more precious pixels and that’s definitely a win!
